ANAND NAOREM is a graphic designer and an illustrator.
A graduated in communication design from the National Institute of Design,
Ahmedabad, India. He has been in the communication design industry for the past 9 years
and has worked as design lead, art director as well as creative head with various
publishing houses, media companies and design firms. Naorem co-founded Visual Vibe,
a design studio and Knit Yarn 3, an ideas company.

In 1997, He was one of the five finalists in the International symbol design competition
on 'Women and a Culture of Peace', organized by UNESCO. And in 2006,
Naorem co-authored and published 'oh Damn!' – A collection of daily cartoons.

For the past 4 years, Naorem has been working in the area of news design and has
undertaken redesign projects including Outlook magazine, Tehelka tabloid and
Tehelka magazine. Currently he is the principal designer at theIdeaWorks,
a design firm in New Delhi, India.

He is also working on his first graphic novel.
